New Student Orientation Kicks Off
Welcome to the class of 2021!
Our new students had a very busy first week of school.
Excited students entered the building, eyes wide open, to a welcome breakfast meeting, new friends, and some familiar faces. After meeting their homeroom teachers, new students toured the school before beginning their day filled with a series of orientation classes including; Welcome to CHS, Introduction to Study Skills, CHS Code of Conduct, and Computer Tech, where the students were introduced to our 1:1 Chromebook Program.
On Day 2, the fun continued with a team building field trip, hosted by Team Makers of New Jersey. Students played games, worked together on STEM related activities and most importantly, began to build lasting friendships.
Day 3 ended our week with the Activities Fair, introducing all the students Community High School clubs, organizations, and sports. There truly is something for everyone. The day ended sweetly with our yearly Ice Cream Social.
